Which Probate Assistance Services Offer Online Consultations?

Probate in England and Wales can be handled almost entirely online, and many providers, including Maximum Inheritance, offer consultations by phone or video rather than in person.

Because probate is a national process, your location does not limit your options. The GOV.UK portal lets executors apply for a Grant of Probate online if they are comfortable with the paperwork. Beyond the DIY route, most probate assistance services now run remotely: documents are shared securely online, and your initial consultation happens by phone or video call.

When you compare online options, look past the word online and ask what is actually included. Some services only offer an initial advice call or a grant-only application. Others handle the full estate: valuing assets, completing and submitting IHT forms, dealing with HMRC, settling debts, and distributing to beneficiaries. Check whether the same person handles your case throughout, or whether you are passed around a team.

You should also confirm pricing upfront and whether the quote covers the whole process or just one stage.

At Maximum Inheritance, I offer online and telephone consultations directly with me, Ade, wherever you are in England and Wales. There is no call centre and no junior staff, so you speak to the person actually doing the work. I handle everything remotely on a fixed fee, from the first conversation through to final distribution, so distance is never a barrier. You can see how the service works on my probate assistance page and arrange a consultation whenever suits you.
